60s -Home Sewn- Womens bright navy velvet dress and separate top which are designed to be worn as one. The dress has darted bodice shaping using a satin acetate fabric having a wide rounded scooped neckline with a back metal zipper close. Binding finishes the neckline and armholes. The lining attaches to the velvet skirt section at the waist with a 16inch center back slit extending up from the hem providing movement ease. The separate bodice has elbow length longsleeves which are finished with an emerald green fold back satin cuff. Matching fabric is used on the rolled hem of the wide round neckline and center back closure as well as the covered buttons that are for eye appeal only. Underside snaps fasten the back with a hook at the top. Horizontal darts offer front bodice contouring. This floor-length garment measures 19inches from shoulder to hem and the dress is 52inches. Faded underarm toning on dress, which would be covered by jacket.
